As the costs for the Ski Team rise so does the importance of fundraising! The boosters is trying to keep the cost to families as low as possible to give all students the opportunity to participate. As an incentive to increase participation in fundraising, the boosters are giving 25% of all fundraising profit that a student earns to be applied directly to that students account. The other 75% goes into the booster fund to pay for team expenses such as new equipment. This offer will be applied to the bottle & can drive, the bowling fundraiser and ornament sales.
September 7th, 2019 from 10:00 A.M to .2:00 P.M at the Antioch Lutheran Church at 13 Mile & Farmington.
The bottle & can drive has become a year-round fundraiser. There are many ways this can be accomplished and it is up to the individual how they would like to do this. Please don't do this alone and make sure to wear your Ski Team fundraising shirt as this will identify you to people as being legitimate. One of the easiest ways to collect is to pick a sunny weekend day when people are outside working and drive through neighborhoods, stopping and asking for returnable donations. A second way is to distribute flyers in a neighborhood saying you will be back in a week to pick up any bottles & cans they would like to donate. All they need to do is leave them on their front porch. Once you have collected a car load of returnables, take them to a store and turn them in. Then turn the money in to one of the captains on the team or the booster treasurer (Jill Keller). For detailed instructions see attachment below.
